Coated Fabric Expansion Joint
We manufacture expansion joints and sleeves made of coated fabric, with or without a thermal barrier, according to plans or models.
We have a wide range of coated fabrics in stock that are necessary for manufacturing, such as:
- Fiberglass Silicone
- Kevlar Silicone
- PTFE fiberglass
- EPDM fiberglass
- Viton Nomex
- Nylon Nitrile
- etc.
Certain grades of stock also comply with standards ; Food: FDA, Rail: EN 45 545
In addition to coated fabrics, we also stock fabrics used as thermal barriers:
- Fiberglass
- Aluminized fiberglass
- Graphite-reinforced fiberglass
- HT fiberglass with Inconel reinforcement
- Ceramic with Inconel reinforcement
- Silica with vermiculite treatment
- etc.
We also have thesilica felt materials needed to make “bolsters,” insulation pads that are sometimes necessary to insert between the deflector and the compensator itself in order to insulate the latter from the system temperature.
Sealux engineers naturally advise customers on the choice of materials and construction methods to be used.
If the customer wishes, we can also take care of the following operations:
- on-site measurement
- disassembly
- on-site installation
When a simple repair is needed, whether in the workshop or on site at the customer’s premises, we can also carry this out.
As subcontractors, we can also include any metal work that may sometimes be necessary in the project.
